Whewf! These past two months were jam-packed. As usual, the end of the calendar year came to a speedy finale and a much-appreciated break from regular life. I’m happy to have learned the hard way, a few years ago, that my body and mind need a dedicated week to break from work and reconnect with the things that matter most at this time of year.
In November I moved house (and cities). Technically twice, as we had a three-week temporary home in between moves. Without taking a breather, I then went back to Vancouver to met a few colleagues at a conference, the First Nations Energy Summit. Being on Vancouver Island means I get to see most of my colleagues in person a lot more, which has been great! |
Writing these newsletters has been a fun part of my year, and I hope they were a fun or at least slightly informative part of your 2024 too!
As I mentioned in my Tops of 2024 post, blogging for the past few years has allowed me to reconnect with my creative side. I’ve enjoyed the process and have especially enjoyed being able to inspire others and help them to think a little differently.
Also as I mentioned in my last blog post, this will be my last newsletter to you. At least the last regular one for a while. While I’ve enjoyed writing these, I’m currently gaining more energy from other mediums (predominantly through my Skyline Tavern blog).
Tons of gratitude to those who have supported this blog and newsletter! Thank you, everyone, for reading, and wishing you all the best in 2025.
